School held a declamation contest on 19th November, 2015. Our Chief Guests were Mrs Taqi Usmani and Mrs Imran Usmani. This contest was held in the auditorium of the school and was attended by the Campus In-charge, coordinators of senior, junior, Quran and discipline. Senior classes lX and Vlll also attended the declamation contest.

The contestants in the declamation were students of Reflection, Intellect, Manhal and Hira Foundation, the host school.

Topics of declamation were:

  1. Role of Muslim women in modern era
  2. Raise  the Muslim Ummah from the depth of ignorance towards hope and enlightenment
  3. Internet, its uses and abuses
  4. Pros and cons of Mobile phones

The judges of the competition were:

  1. Ms Kulsom (Madrasa Ayesha)
  2. Ms Sarwat Riaz (Madrasa Ayesha, Principal)

 

The program started with the recitation of Holy Quran and was followed by a naat by Tayaba Rahat. Power point presentation about Hira Foundation School was displayed. Then Bakhtawar and her group sang a welcome song. Haleema Usman and Ayesha Khan of Hira Foundation opened the declamation.

Other participants were:

    2. Fatima Mateen (Reflection)
    3. Sumayya Abdul Rabb (Manhal)
    4. Hania Ghazi (Manhal)
    5. Khadija Kamran (Intellect)
    6. Fatima Abdul Wahab (Intellect)

 

After the competition the results were compiled by the judges.

The winners were:

      1. Maham Akhter (Reflection) 1st prize
      2. Ayesha Khan (HFS) 2nd prize
      3. Haleema Usman (HFS) 3rd prize

 

Shields and certificates were distributed to the winners.

The Campus In-Charge, Ms Sadaf Sawant thanked the judges, the participants and the audiences. Refreshment was served.
