[headline]Topic: Do Not Litter – Designed by Ms. Sana Aamir[/headline]
Class I was recently assigned a project activity of “Making models by reusing and recycling things”.
The students were explained that some things that we throw away can be used again. There are a lot of benefits of reusing like it helps you to save time, money and resources. It also reduces pollution because there will be less litter to burn or bury in this way it protects the environment for us and the animals to live in.
Students were then instructed to make different models by reusing materials like newspaper, match box, tin, shoe box, plastic bottle etc. They took keen interest in this activity and showed a good output.
Students used the waste materials in the following ways:
- Thermo pole, toothpicks and toy animals have been utilized in making a FARM HOUSE.
- Shoe boxes have been utilized in making TISSUE BOXES, BANGLES HOLDER and STORY BOOK HOLDERS.
- Paper has been utilized to show MARINE LIFE.
- Match boxes have been utilized in making TRAIN, CARS and LIVING ROOMS.
- Tins have been utilized in making PENCIL HOLDERS, JEWELLERY BOXES and FLOWER POTS.
- Ice cream sticks and boxes have been utilized in HOUSES.
