Pearls Of Wisdom


Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A) said:

  • It is necessary to repent on the sins but it is most necessary to keep away from sins.
  • Make the person your friend who forgets after doing virtue.
  • Stop your tongue to the complaints; you will be blessed by “Happiness”.
  • Every virtue has an approximate imagination of its reward except “Patience”. Its reward has no imagination.
  • Equalize your outer (Zahir) and inner (Baatin).

Hazrat Umer Farooq (R.A) said:

  • Not to commit any sin is better than repentance on it.
  • Always remember your death but never wish for death.
  • These things cause poverty for man:
    • 1. Performing Namaz rapidly
    • 2. Drinking water while standing
    • 3. Put out the candle or lamp by blowing from mouth
    • 4. Cleaning face by sleeves and shirt
    • 5. Pass the urine while standing
  • I am conscious for praying only. If I am blessed for praying, the responding of that prayer will be blessed itself.
  • To speak less is wisdom, to eat less is health and to sleep less is worship.
  • Generous is the friend of Allah while a miser is the enemy of Allah even if he is great worshipper.

Hadhrat Usman Ghani (R.A) said:

  • The sin always discomforts the heart in any way.
  • The man is hidden behind the curtain of his tongue.
  • Never put your burden on anyone even if it is much or less.
  • If your tongue is better, then your heart mends itself.
  • Calmness is the best cure for anger.

Hadhrat Ali (R.A) said:

  • The best kind of wealth is to give up inordinate desires.
  • Be generous but not extravagant, be frugal but not miserly.
  • Live amongst people in such a manner that if you die they weep over you and if you are alive they crave for your company.
  • Man is a wonderful creature; he sees through the layers of fat (eyes), hears through a bone (ears) and speaks through a lump of flesh (tongue).
  • Resignation to the Will of God is the cure for the disease of the heart.
