From riding a tricycle to getting dressed, preschoolers are learning how much they can do by themselves. Children need to learn how to wash their hands. Muhammad (PBUH) said to his companions that “cleanliness is half of faith”. Islam puts great emphasis on both spiritual and physical cleanliness and purification. Hand washing prevents kids from getting sick and making other people sick. The teacher told the children that we should wash our hands after arriving, after coughing and sneezing, before eating food, after using the toilet, and after playing outdoors. The teacher told them practically when and how to wash their hands. She also told them about germs. It was an amazing activity enjoyed by the JM students thoroughly.
